Been having trouble with a car Im working on for a customer. It was originally brought to me because the car did not run well (some rednecks in a hole in a wall got ahold of it) anyways, all those problems have been sorted. As I was getting ready to call him to tell him it was ready the car would not restart. Its done it several times now, and it will not restart until the car has cooled down for about an hour and a half or more. Only thing Ive done was unplug MAF and CTS, cleaned the CTS, and checked to make sure connections on the o2 sensors were good. It just came to me about 30 min ago. Does this sound like the PTU breaking down due to heat? its still in the factory position and is original as far as I can tell. Any input, thanks!
