Following up from my previous post: Trans Fill Plug Stuck The 13MM square hex bit I got fits, but it's quite a bit deeper than the plug itself and I'm unable to get clearance with it on the breaker bar. I think it would work fine for the drain plug and perhaps on the diff though. The 1/2" drive 18" breaker bar I got fits fine on an angle but I still can't get enough leverage to bust the plug loose. I even tried bracing myself against the rear tire and pushing with my feet and everything no luck. The base of my breaker bar is too thick to extend with my jack stand handle and I don't have much room left between the handle and the floor :( I scraped off the visible sealant and hit the area around the plug on the trans with the MAP torch a little still made no difference. I think there may be enough of the plug protruding to get one of my channel locks around them. I've read here about a couple folks having success with these or pipe wrenches. I have tried some WD-40 but not PB Blaster thinking that might help too so I'm going to pick some up at Lowe's today. Thoughts?
