Message	from extreme heat and/or use. That is the cause for the aluminum to expand and stretch the ring gear, or at least what he told me. I do run a 6 puck clutch but haven't really driven it hard other than I-75 in FL heat. No mention of a design change over the phone but did mention that the approximated $40 service charge includes a new ring gear.
