I mistakenly read NA should be 10 degrees in the FAQ. That is only true for 1996. After doing this, the car certainly feels a bit stronger, but still not 100%. I am still using the older type injectors, not upgraded. The timing belt was done by Nissan maybe 4 years ago. Hardly driven since. I don't suspect this is the issue. After clipping injector wires, I did not see much of any corrosion inside, but I did feel a very waxy/sticky film on the wires. I cleaned them a bit before splicing in the new connectors. My remaining ideas are to test: Injector OHMs MAF Sensor Fuel Pump Thanks again for the pointers and for pointing out my error on timing! Unfortunately I busted a bolt off that holds the crank angle sensor. It's the one closest to the passenger side of the car. Not sure how exactly I am going to get the bolt out yet. Ideas?
