Subject	Loud ticking while warm, usually after boosting

Message	I have a very loud tick that starts after I push my Z. If im driving normally I don't think the tick will just appear, but if I push it the ticking starts and its very loud and will not stop until I let the car idle for 5minutes and it slowly disappears. I also have a small hunch its temperature related because one morning it was cool out and I pushed it to try and make it happen but I wasn't able to make it tick. I don't know if its a lifter or valve or anything else and how to diagnose and then treat it. I tried putting in 10w40 from previously 5w30 but it hast helped. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
