Message	wouldn't do much good for the seal to spin and move up or down on the threads. Total longshot, probably not worth trying, but perhaps use a syringe to as-evenly-as-possible inject some RTV underneath the seal so as to make it expand a little bit? Take that with a grain of salt. Not even sure I would want to try it myself, GASP!
