I was having a similar problem had code 42 and 21 I installed new style cas and pig tail and it runs perfect now. With code 34 up your car will go into safety boost and run like crap but shouldn't die. Don't have any experience with a code 35 so I'm not sure there. The code 42 shouldn't cause any running problems other than prvr function. I'd really look into the code 21 mainly ptu which is most prone to corrosion and cas. I'd be willing to bet those codes are still there as a hard fault would cause those codes and not fix themselves. Fix the codes drain the gas and put some fresh stuff in and you should be back in business
