...I pulled the plenum 5 years ago and tested that the AAV solenoid was functional. Of course, sitting in storage, connectors disconnected, may have still be susceptible to corrosion, but remember the car did run fine after getting reassembled for about 30 miles before it's current crisis. I did re-clean the AAV spaces again with a wire brush, hit with electrical contact cleaner, dried it, but also rechecked the coil and injector connectors. The car will now idle with a mild roughness and only die occasionally. My next step is to listen to each injector to ensure operation.
