Message That diagram is SO confusing, but I think I figured it out. "Terminal (1)" corresponds to E1 through E6 on the PTU and are the "external" (output) pins that go straight to the coils; "terminal (2)" corresponds to I1 through I6 on the PTU and are the "input" pins that come from the ECU; and "terminal (3)" is the one G (ground) pin on the PTU. I1 is electrically connect only to E1, I2 only to E3, and so forth.

Whenever any terminal is being tested against "terminal (3)" simply test every single pin to G. If "terminal (1)" is being tested against "terminal (2)" then only test against matched pairs, e.g. I1 only to E1, I2 only to E3, etc., but check all matched pairs.

With this new methodology, I redid all the tests on my PTU and it passed.

So now I'm stuck still trying to figure out what's wrong and will continue testing the wiring to/from the PTU, and eventually the CAS.
