Counter Gear. I think the Insert Springs put tension on the Reverse Cone. I hate to say this but, unless you know how to diagnose part conditions, damage, and re-build a manual transmission, IMO you should have it repaired professionally. And if the estimate for the repair is too high, buy a used one from one of the reputable guys on here. You can switch over your new parts to the used one if you go that route. Strictly speaking for myself, because of my business relationships, I would have mine re-built AND with heavy-duty parts.
