Message Your injector O-rings are probably Viton so using a petroleum based lube (vasoline) wont bother them. But if u want to be safe just use dielectric grease. Or spend $30 for a tube of o-ring silicone grease which is essentially the same as the dielectric which u prob already have in your tool box.

I asked a local o-ring dealer if there was a significant difference between the cheapy dielectric and the $30 tube of o-ring grease and I was told not to waste my money, they're pretty well the same.

As WOODY said, I'd give those screws another turn. My rubber washers were squished a bit. Tighten them evenly. I'd do 1/4 turns cross pattern to be safe.
