Ive tried searching this using multiple different keywords but the closest thing im finding is how changing compression via pistons/bore/etc affects power. What im wanting to know is how much compression affects the power of the engine. TT Compression: 121 minimum 174 perfect Lets say compression is low in all cylinders by about 0.09% equalling an average around 158psi of 174. Does this mean the horsepower, is reduced by the same 0.09%? And any power gains via mods are equally affected by the same percentage? Example using stock 300hp x 0.09% reduction totalling 273hp. Rough estimated gains of mods: 10hp mod loses close to 1hp? 20hp mod loses around 2hp? 50hp mod loses about 5hp? Is it as simple as that or more complicated to a point it couldnt be rough-estimated using calculations?
