So guys I got my engine bac together after valve seal replacement. Before starting up I did a boost leak test so the #1piston was at tdc still. Filling to 6psi it took 20-21 seconds for the gauges needle to come to rest. I Hurd no leaks. On my most recent boost leak test prior to the repairs made it took 27-28 seconds to bleed off at 6psi. Basically 7seconds difference. So even though I'm not hearing any leaks Im puzzled why the bleed of time varies so. Do you guys think I'm over thinking this?? These times were gathered by comparing the times of two test of each the before and after (so 4 total) and the times are within .5 seconds of accuracy.
