My number 6 cylinder started misfiring lately. Just driving on the road the cylinder would die and come back all by itself. I swapped the coils and the problem stayed so I'm guessing it's the injector. I also checked the wiring and it doesn't seem to be the problem. They're original, early style fuel injectors. I don't have the cash right now to swap all 6 so I will probably end up changing just that one. Could a clogged injector possibly cause this issue? Is there anything I can do without pulling the plenum to check it? I'm also considering changing it with the plenum on, using the dremel method if possible. Any thoughts?
