Could someone help me out? There is what looks like a notch on the steering rack where the splined shaft extends out from the rack and attaches to the steering knuckle (universal joint). Is that an alignment notch, or just a casting mark? Do you line the plastic tab that pinches between the knuckle with that mark? Took mine apart to replace the knuckle and it looks like someone took it apart previously and I want to make sure it is lined up correctly. Also, I have read a bunch of posts about an ATI damper that has the same ratio as the stock crank pulley. Is that the race damper that slightly overdrives the accessories or is there an ATI damper that is the exact same size as the stock puley?
