There is what looks like a notch on the steering rack where the splined shaft extends out from the rack slightly and attaches to the steering knuckle (universal joint). Is that an alignment notch, or just a casting mark? Do you line the plastic tab that pinches between the knuckle with that mark? Took mine apart to replace the knuckle and it looks like someone took it apart previously and I want to make sure it is lined up correctly.
