Message OK check circuit between key and starter.

I do this by jacking up the car, place safety stands, disconnect the electric coupling at the starter and connect a 14ga jumper wire to the open wire connector at the the starter. Then turn the ign key to on (lights on dash come on) then touch the other end of the jumper wire to the + batt post for a second or so (place it quick or it will arc) and if it starts there is fault in the wiring between the starter and the ignition. If no start starter/solenoid is the issue.

The starter relay check white22sky notes is good to do but a simple check of any relay by a continuity meter can give a false positive as there is no current flow in such a test and internal contacts have continuity but poor at passing current, happened to me. Best way is to get a Nissan starter relay and replace it for PM. If still no start there is the theft circuit that has a fault. Not sure on that one never had an issuer with it. Perhaps others will chime in if you don't resolve your issuer with suggestions here.
