Message	That sounds EXACTLY like my motor did when it was cold... It was the VTC gear on the DS. The difference is that I had the JWT 500 cams. Pull the timing covers, start the motor, listen, and feel the center caps on the intake cams. If it is the VTC, you will feel that "knock" in the snout, through the front cover of the gear.
