It's hard to pinpoint. I believe it's #4 though. I'll get it in the air and listen a bit more from the bottom end, but I am almost positive, it's not a bearing. I'll get a gauge on it. I wasn't sure how common slap was on stock components. My search showed a bunch of rod knocks.. and that's about it. So that would indicate it's not all that common. Except for with JE or other aftermarket pistons. That turned up everywhere. It's hard to say if the internals are stock or not. My guess it they are however. Why would anyone install forged pistons with stock turbos? lol.. They wouldn't. As for local mechanic, no way. I'll go get it in the air and report back.
