Message Ok, So I have confirmed the 90-96 Q45 and Z32 TT 6-bolt axles are identical, same length and all. I have confirmed the output shafts are also identical length so there is no need to track down some random output shafts to put in the Q45 R200V. I have also confirmed the Z32 TT wheel bearing will bolt onto the Z32 NA Knuckle. I have NOT yet confirmed the input shaft bolt pattern between the Q45 and the Z32 NA. I have confrimed the R200V from a Z32NA and Q45 are the same length and width.

What this means is that in order to run the 6-bolt axles in a Z32 NA subframe all you would need to do is swap to the Q45 32-spline R200V diff, 6-bolt (Q45/Z32TT) axles, (Z32TT bearing and hub - generally one unit unless bought new)

During the past couple of days I have been contemplating whether this operation would be worth it. I have the following issues currently with my 29-spline 5-bolt R200V:

1. My drivers wheel bearing has had it.
2. The R200V I have needs new seals and as such has a slight leak.

I believe it is time well spent in my case, as it is clear I will already have to perform work on and around this unit, for the additional reasons I've decided to go forward with this plan:

1. The 6-bolt 32-spline axles offer much more strength and potential over the 5-bolt 29-spline axles.
2. There are vastly more FDR available for the R200, there is tremendous flexibility as this is obviously Nissan's Go-To Differential. I've compiled the list for those interested. (Removed all duplicates)

Z33 AT R200V 3.357
Q45 96- AT R200V 3.538
Q45 97+ AT R200V 3.692
S15 AT R200V 3.916
Z32 MT R200V 4.083
R32 GTR MT R200C 4.111
R33 AT R200C 4.363

Notes:

1. There is some contradictory info on whether or not the R200V and R200C share the same ring-pinion dimensions.
2. I have trimmed this list down to those I know as fact will physically fit in the Q45/Z32 R200V case, pending above. There is a lot more FDR's in Nissan's R200 powered truck lineup that would require a case swap due to larger pinion sizes, but would fit in the R200V subframe of the Z32 NA.(Not included in this list)
