Hi everyone, this is my first post in this website after buying a Z32 a few weeks ago. I am replacing the timing belt and have removed the crankshaft sprocket from my 1991 n/a. I have bought a new sprocket and washers. After putting the back washer on and then the sprocket..tapping it back with a plastic mallet I am supposed to put the beveled washer back on the front. I notice that the sprocket slid so far back that it clears the front key for the crankshaft pulley. The front washer has a notch for the key but since the sprocket sits so far back the front washer passes the key as well. Does the front washer need to seated on the front key or can it go past and spin freely?
