Message Open end wrench with a little persuasion from a ball peen or dead blow if needed.
Locking plates came with new ends, but if old plates are gently removed (ie: bent back),I suppose you could reuse them.
Either way pay attention to tabs on bottom that line up with groove in rod end.
Be sure not to lose spacer washer.
