I keep my vehicle garaged (not heated ) from November to March or so, I try to run it every couple weeks to get the oil flowing. Yesterday and the last two days I went to start the car and got a really loud screeching sound (not a belt sound) like the car is already running and I turned the key. It goes away after two turns of the key, but the car will not turn over after that. It cranks but doesn't make it all the way to ignition as if the battery was low. I do keep my battery connected to a slow charger all winter so the vehicle will not completely die out ( routine problem. ) However, the battery may be weak due to the charger not putting enough voltage in due to the extreme cold.
