Message After yesterday's fun, when I got home today I turned on the car but did not turn it over and left it for few minutes. I checked the vacuum tube on the FPR and damper both were dry. I pulled the balance tube so I reconnect things and start again at trying to figure this thing out. When I pulled the balance tube there was a puddle of fuel in the rear of the driver's side.

I decided to turn the engine over before hooking up all of the connectors. I had the plug in suspect cylinder #1, turned it over a few times and then pulled the plug on #1. There was a puddle of fuel in the cylinder that covered 2/3 of my view through the plug hole. I pulled all the other plugs they and the cylinders were all dry.

So injector #1 is stuck open. When turned it over yesterday with the injector connectors off #1 was flowing enough gas to puddle up at the rear of the driver's side plenum and provide enough airborne fuel to "run" the engine. When I turned off the ignition the engine "dieseled" since it was no longer a fuel injected engine.

Sound about right? I guess my next move is to replace #1 injector. Any hints? I have read that it is the easiest to get at.
