Message	directly from the head to the pan. There are already several large (1/2") passages that drain the oil from the heads that should be adequate. The VG bottom end is surprisingly strong. If there are oil starvation issues I would be more incluned to look for a clogged oil pickup strainer (RTV maybe?) or a worn oil pump.
