| clutch life. In 4th gear at low RPM, give it full throttle. If the clutch is severely worn the torque will overcome the clutch and you will slip at some point during acceleration. That being said, I agree with your statement for the OP, clutch life depends on the driver. Launches can kill a clutch quickly, where daily smooth driving is easy on the friction disc. If you have babied your clutch, and you broke it in when you installed it, maybe there is another issue at play; -Leaking oil onto the friction disc? -Slave cylinder binding, not fully releasing the fork? -Clutch fork/pivot ball not properly seated? -Improper clutch pedal adjustment?
