All the safety stuff, car in neutral, parking brake on, clear driveway, etc The starter relay wiring colors are: Large B/W, Large B/Y, Small B/W, Small Br/W (and a small white for auto's) Voltages should be: Large B/W: +12V when in 'Acc/On/Start'
Large B/Y: +12V when in 'Start'
Small B/W: +12V when in 'Acc/On/Start'
Small Br/W: Grounded when unlocked (through Security module)
Small W: +12V when in P or D (Auto) I have a feeling you are having a problem with the white wire receiving voltage, as its a manual conversion. That would be a good place to start.
