Message	Remove your fan shroud. You may or may not need to jack your car up if you can get underneath to remove the lower shroud. The lower fan shroud is a clip on so push the clip back on both sides to get it off. Once the fan shroud is out of the car take the fan off from the water pump. Its 4 10mm nuts. Take the water pump belt off and then try to turn the water pump by hand. I'm sure from what you wrote the water pump had seized.
