Message	I did this years ago when I was a newbie and it worked fine for years. I changed nothing, never had an issue. I don't remember why my system was empty, I think it was because the car was stripped for the repaint. But I had no issues doing the simple fill and go kit with the adaptor fittings from the parts store. I did this on my old NA as well and it worked fine. Years later when the TT was torn apart for another project I converted everything over to the proper equipment. Did the new orings, condensor, vacuum, etc, etc. It works as well of course, as it should.
