| I could use some advice from anyone who knows the electrical system on this car pretty well. The title pretty much says it all: the car acts like there is no battery installed. No lights, no clock, no accessories, no priming fuel pump when the key is turned, nothing. My battery is an Optima red-top, reads about 12.6v across the posts on the multimeter. I've pulled every fuse under the hood and in the driver's kickpanel. They're all good. I've tested every fusible link, and they all have continuity. The big blue one had some pretty significant copper oxidation on the posts, so I filed them clean and blew them out with the compressor. I also used a rotary stone on the inside of the battery connectors, so they're nice and shiny copper now, too. I get good voltage (12.4v) from the battery hot to the plenum. Interestingly, when I connected the battery and pulled the big blue fusible link, I see no voltage coming across either post (using either the battery NEG or the plenum for ground). I have the FSM for my car with all the wiring schematics, but they all show power flowing from the battery through that fusible link, so I'm at a loss where to go from here. Any thoughts?
