| I'm sure the heads need to be decked but I have a fresh set here. As long as the blocks mating surface doesn't normally warp. I have brand new Nissan head gasket kit. The hydrolock only happened once the car was in the shop so it never hydrolocked while running and when it hit the first time and I heard the motor locked I did not try again. It only tapped once and not very hard so I'm hoping for the best. I am still trying to figure out the cause of the overboosting. That was on 93 pump gas. Used to do only 18psi on pump but I had boost leaks. You are right that a/f reading does seem a little lean. I will be investing in a j&s knock box when I swap the heads.
