About 8 years or so ago I read and tried a trick to help lower the idle speed to 750-800 by spraying WD-40 into some tube near the back of the engine on top of the plenum. It worked back than, and I need it again. I think the idea was there was a paper element inside that dries up over time? I can't find the write up or remember which tube it was? Anyone know this trick?
