I have a 91TT no engine mods 45,000 orig miles, I just replaced a fuel injector this week to replace a bad one. When I started the car it has a lower, kind of rough idle. The car doesn't die and there is no loss of power or hesitation when driving, just at idle. I replace at least one injector a year over the last 8 years, without removing the plenum and I am very confident it is installed correctly and working. The only other strange noise that happened once when this problem started was a gurgling water type of noise coming from the middle of the dash near the firewall as heard when I was in the car. Car was running flawlessly before the injector change as it has the last 8 years I have owned it. Any help is greatly appreciated.
