Subject	Oil pickup to pan clearance

Message	How much of a gap should there be between the oil pickup tube and the pan? My donor motor had low oil pressure and it appeared the motor had been bottomed out in the car as the pickup tube was all smashed up. I beat the pan back into shape, but want to dry fit it with some play-dough during reassembly to make sure the clearance is close. To answer any followups: its getting a full rebuild, crank was already polished, block honed, etc with new oil pump and all that fun stuff. I'm not just replacing the pickup and hoping its ok.
