Car was running fine, its 1990 TT 5spd Pulled the motor for paint and just dropping it back in. Getting no spark or fuel Checked all fuses kickpanel,main box,battery fuse location everythings goodCar cranks won't turn over Harness is oem only 800miles All main harness grounds bolted to bare metal Injector connectors have constatnt 12v Visually checked spark and there is none Tested 12v middle pin on coil pack connector with ignition ON and OFF and nothing. Took CAS off and spun it and no clicking from injectors. Used known good CAS and still nothing. Switched out PTU and nothing. Fuel pump does not prime in ON position, but does when hooked straight up to the battery. Fuel pump relay doesn't click, but is a good relay, and even tested it and it clicks. Fuel pump relay when jumped, the pump turns on and primes. Fuel lines & filter are hooked correctly. Now the ecu, key in ON position it will not go into diagnostics mode, turning the knob does nothing, the red light just stays solid the whole time. I borrowed a friends OEM TT ecu and it does the same thing when connected. I'm assuming this is harness related somewhere?
