Message The factory boost solenoid connector is not required if you are using an aftermarket boost controller. Depending if there is still vacuum hoses going to the solenoids will make things more complex. It's hard to say what someone did when they install a boost controller, some people have no idea what they are doing and even pros can get it wrong. Personally, I would re-do all of the vacuum tubing underneath the hood.

I can give you an image of what the factory vacuum diagram looks like and one for an aftermarket boost controller which cleans it up greatly. Also depends if your AIVs, EGR and a bunch of other things are deleted.

What boost controller do you have?

I would also suggest performing the 6 P's:
