Message My car wouldnt start and its already fixed, just wanted to share the problem and solution in the event that someone else has the same issue. While the issue still existed, I *did* search and was never able to find the exact solution for this particular issue.

At first I thought I had a parasitic draw off of the battery. I have a voltage gauge and the needle would bounce between ~12v and 14v.

Took it to a Pepboys to have them look at it. The reason why I chose Pepboys was because they work over the weekends, including Sunday. They tried to drive it into the bay and it wouldnt start. I came back in another vehicle to investigate it myself and I had a blinking "security" light on the dash. The culprit ended up being a disconnected hood button. Put the connector back on, alarm started going off. Unlocked the car and the security light and alarm shut up...still wont start. Looked at the fusible links, the PTU, the "theft" relay under the hood, the alarm box by the ECU, the ignition switch and the starter relay...all checked good.

At this point, I had it towed to a Nissan dealership. They spent a day on it and suggested that I replace the EFI harness (which has MAYBE 500 miles on it) because all kinds of things were spliced into it (gauges and that kind of thing). I told them that wasnt happening and they informed me that my wiring harness either didnt come with a ground for the starter solenoid or it was simply cut off. They ended up making a ground for it and it started right up. The wiring harness I have is from Wiring Specialties. Id like to make it clear that Im not convinced that it was at fault of the manufacturer. It did work for ~500 miles without any kind of issue. My intent is simply to give detailed information.
