| I had my car on jacks quite a bit over the winter and this Spring doing a bunch of different things. When I got it back down a few weeks back and took it out for a drive, I was hearing a metal clanking sound that would happen relatively randomly, but usually after taking off after being stopped. I would hear a clank if I made a turn (sometimes). It would usually be 1 or 2 clanks in slow driving and then I wouldn't hear anything until the next stop and go. I figured out today that it had to be suspension related (as opposed to the hood prop or other engine bay items) as I could make it happen when loading up and unloading torque on the suspension (like making a turn from a stop with a uneven pavement). My problem was something internal to the KYB AGX adjustable shocks. I took a drive and had the clanking this morning, literally just changed the setting to 1 level softer, and the clanking is gone. This is for anyone who has an annoying clank and is looking for things to try.
