Message I have been developing a 2-step launch control with anti-lag that uses the stock ECU. It requires no additional hardware other than an EPROM upgrade. I plan to sell this initially in a 'chip upgrade' service, where you send me a ECU/chip/.bin file and I add the custom launch control code to your existing tune.

This LC uses the OEM fuel-cut rev-limiter along with an ignition retard anti-lag that helps generate boost off the line. The neutral switch (via gear shifter) is used to arm the LC/adjust the launch RPM. I have experimented with spark-cut, but the EGTs were so high that I really wouldn't recommend using it. Granted the flames (and probably chunks of turbo) out the tail-pipes were pretty awesome...

The launch control algorithm has a number of new tunable parameters in the ROM including: (defaults)
- base launch RPM (3000rpm)
- neutral switch 'bump up' RPM amount (250rpm),
- LC maximum vehicle speed (0km/h)
- anti-lag minimum RPM (2500rpm)
- anti-lag ignition retard amount
- enable/disable neutral switch input
- enable/disable anti-lag
- enable/disable CEL flashing

Here's a video demo:
La-Z-Link

This could be turned into a 3-step (no lift shifting) by eliminating the PRVR system and re-purposing the fuel temperature sensor input to act as a clutch switch input to the ECU. I would have to add some custom ECU code for a rev-limiter that is activated only when the clutch switch is disengaged, throttle position is ~100% and the vehicle is moving. This is definitely do-able and something I want for myself in a future version.

(speaking of thread-jacking...)
