Message The ECU doesn't check for a speed sensor fault code when activating the VTCs. However, there is a minimum vehicle speed at which the VTC will be engaged. On both the TT and NA the minimum VTC speed is 0 (i.e. VTC can be engaged at any speed greater than 0).

In other words, I wouldn't worry about the VTC in this case.
