Message	Can the thermostat be removed without having to remove the top water pipe? Need to test and see if my thermostat is stuck and would prefer to remove as little as possible. I already am aware that I need to remove the fan shroud, fan, water pump pulley/belt and since the lower water pipe needs to be removed I'm considering removing the radiator as well. I have nightmares about that happening...I'd be the poor bastard you'd hear about on the news that gets killed by a softball-size chunk while spreading out my body over the hood and screaming "Nooo!"
