Message	Once you get the unit cleaned and relubed, test it hooked up to the car. By that I mean, place the unit in the open hatch cargo area, so that you can hook up its wiring at the passenger side rear, but with the unit supported such that its mast can extend out the open hatch. Don't just lay it in the cargo area hooked up, and then turn on the radio. The mast may extend into a panel and break.
