This is my very first post on TTnet so please excuse me if I am not doing something right. I have a 1991 TT, with the OEM bose stereo system which all is in working condition. There was an aftermarket head unit in the car when I got it but I put the whole Bose back in, piece by piece. Sounds great but the power antenna has an odd probolem - it works 100% (as in goes up and goes down all the way) while the key is turned on but not while the car is running. While the car is running, and I turn the radio on or off the antenna only moves for a split second then stops. It travels less than an inch before stopping. I have replaced the bose tape deck and it still does this. I have also replaced the power antenna relay and that didn't help either. The oem wire harness (behind the head unit) was not altered in any way. Again, while the car is not running but the key is turned forward, the antenna goes up and down without flaw when the radio is turned on or off so I know that the antenna is working. I am stumped so I thought I would give this forum a try. Thank you to anyone that might have an idea about how I can work this problem out. ~Jeff
