I'm in the Pensacola,Fl area and we recently had a bad flood. Unfortunately my car was a part of that. The water at one point covered the engine. All electronics I've checked still work. I pulled the plugs and turned the motor over and it shot water out of the #3 cylinder, and that was it. Then I went to change the oil. For about the first 10 seconds the only thing that came out of the drain plug was water. I'm thinking I should pull the oil cooler too and see if I can get any water out of it. I'm also wondering if I should just go ahead and see about rebuilding the engine. I've definitely heard the horror stories about wiring harnesses too. Any input would be appreciated.
