Subject	What could cause the aux cooling fan to always run?

Message	My auxiliary cooling fan often runs even when my car is cold. Reading up on the issue it appears that this would be caused by a bad coolant temperature sensor giving a reading that the coolant is very hot. However, when I hook Nissan Data Scan up to the car and look at the value being given by the sensor I can see that it's working correctly. What else can cause this?
