to make a long story short, i was slowing down around 90mph, heard a clunk and felt like i was pulling a trailer. diff was leaking. i put it up on jack stands and spun the wheels and the noise sounded like it was coming from the hub or rotors. replaced the rotors, pads and filled up my diff. noise is still there. gets really loud around 40mph then noise gets thinner and thinner and gone at 60mph. noise is only loud when clutch is engaged and when the clutch is about to engage. next guess is that the bearings on the diff are toasted or throwout bearing maybe? i really really need help on this guys, im not sure what else it could be. this is on a 1990 tt
