| I am currently replacing my GT525 turbos with the GTX2863. Of course these are not a exact replacement so it is taking a little longer but definitely going to be worth it. Since FedEx made a very late delivery I didn't' get them installed yesterday I guess I could have used my grinder late at night but didn't think the neighbors would have appreciated it :) I plan to complete the install this afternoon and at a minimum get the engine back into the car before grilling and chilling this evening. This leads into my concern/ questions. The concern: the original turbo heat shields don't fit Question 1: Should I modify the heat shields to fit as best as possible? Question 2: Should I just leave them off? Question 3: What is the implications for not installing them? Thanks for your input, Sammy
