Message	that monitors things, throws a trouble code on issues, etc. It really does sound like a wiring issue, ground unconnected, etc. Check the car's wiring diagram for how the bulbs are connected in the dash. Weird wiring may be causing current to flow the wrong way -- allowing more than 1 bulb to light....
