Subject	Why does engine knock with a coil unplugged?

Message	I have weisco pistons on a block with less than 10K miles on it..I noticed when I unplug a coil pack the engine starts knocking like crazy like a rod knock, you plug it back in and it disappears completely. My NA doesn't do that. You unplug a coil, motor just sounds rougher. Wtf?
