| Just wanted to let people know a starting issue that has been vexing me for a while has finally been solved. Issue:
- Car wouldn't start. Symptoms:
- intermittent starting
- turn key but car does not start
- light come on
- I could hear the fuel system pressurize
- I could NOT hear starter relay engage The fix:
- factory alarm relay bad I started by replacing the starter relay. It actually started while I had the car in the air, but I realized I left one of the rubber grommets out of the connector, put it back in, car does not start. I went over the electrical system, and finally found myself face to face with the culprit. It was in fact the factory alarm system relay. Replaced that, and car has been trouble free since.
